IV Hydration & Dehydration
IV fluids may be considered when clinically appropriate for hydration support. Treatment is individualized based on symptoms, medical history, medications, and the underlying cause of dehydration.
Myers’ Cocktail
Myers’ Cocktail combines selected vitamins and minerals in an IV infusion. Whether it is appropriate depends on the patient’s medical history, symptoms, medications, hydration status, and any documented nutrient deficiencies.
Glutathione IV
Glutathione is an antioxidant involved in normal cellular processes. IV glutathione is used in some wellness settings, but claims involving detoxification, immune enhancement, or cosmetic skin changes should be discussed with a physician because evidence and appropriate use vary.
Fatigue and Low Energy
Fatigue has many possible causes, including sleep disorders, anemia, thyroid disease, nutrient deficiencies, medication effects, and other medical conditions. IV therapy may be considered when hydration needs or documented deficiencies are present, but persistent fatigue should be medically evaluated rather than assumed to have a single cause.
High Dose Vitamin C
High-dose IV vitamin C is being studied in specific clinical settings, including as supportive care in some patients with cancer. It should not be presented as a proven cancer treatment and requires physician evaluation because dosing, kidney function, G6PD status, medications, and other clinical factors may affect safety.
NAD IV Therapy
NAD+ is involved in cellular energy metabolism. IV NAD+ is marketed for wellness and recovery, but evidence for anti-aging, cognitive enhancement, or addiction treatment remains limited. A physician should review whether IV NAD+ is appropriate based on the patient’s medical history and goals.
How IV Therapy Works
1. Medical Evaluation
We review your health history, symptoms, medications, hydration needs, and treatment goals.
2. Personalized Plan
Testing may be recommended when clinically appropriate, and treatment is selected for your individual needs.
3. Treatment & Monitoring
IV therapy is administered by trained clinical staff with physician oversight and appropriate monitoring.

From Our Medical Library
It’s easy to overlook the microscopic miracles that keep us alive every second of the day. Breathing, thinking, moving, and digesting—all of it happens because of intricate biochemical processes powered by cellular energy. But what fuels those engines inside our cells? Meet NAD+. Despite its anonymity outside scientific circles, NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is one […]
We’ve all been there. One drink turned into three, and three turned into… well, let’s not talk numbers. The next morning, you woke with a throbbing head, a dry mouth, aching limbs, and the unmistakable pangs of regret. Hangovers are brutal — not just physically, but emotionally too. Whether it’s nausea, dehydration, dizziness, or the […]
You’ve likely seen a phlebotomist in action—rolling up your sleeve, locating a vein with ease, and drawing your blood with practiced confidence. But what if the situation called for something a little more advanced, like starting an IV? It’s a common assumption that anyone who can draw blood can also insert an IV line. After […]

Common Questions About IV Therapy
Answers to common questions about evaluation, safety, testing, and what to expect before IV therapy.
What is IV vitamin therapy?
IV vitamin therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Whether it is appropriate depends on a patient’s medical history, symptoms, medications, hydration status, goals, and any documented deficiencies.
Who may be a candidate for IV therapy?
IV therapy may be considered when clinically appropriate for hydration, documented nutrient deficiencies, or selected physician-directed uses. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or standard treatment of serious medical conditions.
Do I need blood testing before IV therapy?
Not every patient requires laboratory testing before every infusion, but testing may be recommended when symptoms, medical history, medications, kidney function, nutrient status, or the planned treatment make it clinically appropriate.
What are the potential risks of IV therapy?
Potential risks include bruising, bleeding, infection, vein irritation, fluid or electrolyte problems, allergic reactions, and complications related to specific ingredients or underlying medical conditions. A medical review helps determine whether treatment is appropriate.
Does insurance cover IV therapy?
Coverage varies by insurer, diagnosis, medical necessity, and treatment. Our office can review available billing options, but reimbursement cannot be guaranteed and patients should confirm benefits with their insurance plan.
Is IV therapy safe?
IV therapy is generally well tolerated when appropriately selected and administered by trained medical professionals, but no medical treatment is risk-free. Safety depends on the patient, the ingredients, the dose, and appropriate screening and monitoring.
